Counseling psychologists focus on mental health issues and challenges faced by individuals across their life span, as well as systemic challenges such as prejudice and discrimination experienced in groups, workplace, organizations, institutions and communities.They use strength-based practices to prevent and ameliorate emotional, physical, social, cultural, educational and identity related problems. With this course you can work in a hospital set up, school, NGOs, Government set-up (prison),CBOs, and even in the community.

Diploma – Counselling Psychology

Entry Requirement: Passed KCSE with a minimum grade of C- (Minus) 

Or

A certificate  in counselling from an accredited institution 

Duration: 2 years

FEES: Ksh 20.000

Examining Body: TVET/CDACC & KNEC

Craft Certificate – Counseling Psychology

Entry Requirement: Passed KCSE with a minimum grade of D+ (plus) 

Or

An Artisan Certificate from an accredited institution

Duration: 9 months

FEES: Ksh 18.000

Examining Body: TVET/CDACC & KNEC.

Artisan- Counseling Psychology

Entry Requirement: Passed KCSE with a minimum grade of D- (Minus) 

Or

Equivalent qualifications as approved by the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC)

Duration: 6 months

FEES: Ksh 15.000
