Medical engineering refers to the process of checking medical equipment to make sure it is working properly and it is safe to use. Hospitals use an increasingly wide range of medical equipment in order to deliver healthcare services It is really exciting and varied where you will use your expertise in electronic or mechanical engineering to undertake activities and perhaps become involved in modifying or constructing equipment as well

 

Diploma – Medical Engineering

Entry Requirement: Passed KCSE with a minimum grade of C- (Minus) 

Or

A certificate in Medical Engineering from an accredited institution.

Duration: 2 years

FEE:  Ksh 20,000

Examining Body: TVET/CDACC & KNEC

Craft Certificate – Medical Engineering

Entry Requirement: Passed KCSE with a minimum grade of D+ (Plus) 

Or

Equivalent qualifications as approved by the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC)

Duration: 1 year 6months

FEE:  Ksh 18,000
